Another 365 days have come and gone, and the calendar has finally flipped over to the new year. Looking back, 2011 was a great year for gaming. So many great titles released throughout the course of the year, even the most avid gamers would have had a hard time keeping up. And while we’re all trying to catch our breathe and get caught up on the games we’ve build up into our backlog, the games releasing in 2012 are looking great and have a good chance of adding to our piles.

Before we get to that point, I’m going to list both the games I actually did buy in 2011, followed by the games I wanted to buy but didn’t.
